Brandon American Elm is an introduction from Lacombe Nurseries in Alberta. Very hardy and fast growing, smaller and denser than the species. Dark green serrated leaves turn golden in fall. Tolerant of urban conditions and adaptable to many soil types, wet and dry. More compact and denser than the species.

Ulmus davidiana var. japonica 'Discovery'
Discovery Elm is a new introduction from the Prairies (Rick Durand, Manitoba) with excellent resistance to Dutch Elm disease, leaf aphids and elm leaf borer, and a much better crown than that of the Japanese Elm.
