Platanus x acerifolia 'Bloodgood'

Bloodgood London Planetree has exfoliating bark with attractive olive-green and creamy patches that is possibly the most outstanding feature of this large, adaptable street tree. Suitable for city planting. Tolerant of air pollution and dry soils. Some consider tree messy due to early leaf drop (scorch in dry weather, pests). More disease resistance (eg: anthracnose) than parents.

Platanus x acerifolia 'Exclamation!'

(Platanus x acerifolia 'Morton Thornhill') Exclamation! London Planetree has a strong central leader. Densely branched, upright pyramidal tree with extraordinary peeling bark at an early age. Attractive foliage and only light fruiting. Tolerant of urban conditions, anthracnose resistant, moderately resistant to powdery mildew. Peeling bark at young age.
