Nyssa sylvatica 'Green Gable'

The Green Gable is one of a fabulous selection of cultivars of this native tree. It has a pyramidal shape with shiny green foliage that shifts to a deep red fall colour.

Pepperidge, Black Gum, Black Tupelo or Sour Gum Tree. Very beautiful native tree with pyramidal habit when young, becoming irregular with upright, horizontal spreading branching with pendulous nature. Dark green leaves up to 12cm long are oval in shape. Spectacular fall colours ranging from yellow to scarlet to purple. Deep taproot. *adaptable to wet and dry conditions.

Nyssa sylvatica 'Tupelo Tower'

Tupelo Tower has a strong vertical habit unlike other Black Gums. Dark green summer foliage turns beautiful shades of golden and orange in the fall.
