Hardy Rubber Tree is a native tree of China. Attractive, glossy green 7.5-15cm long leaves shaped like Elm leaves. An unusual tree with Latex-like sap (3% latex content) appearing whenever the tree is "wounded" on leaves or stems. However it is not cost- effective to extract the latex to produce rubber commercially! Drought tolerant.
